(On October 12th 2007, a tribute concert was held at Holly's in memory of Roland Forgues, founding drummer for Vegetables By Day, who passed away Oct. 2, 2007. He will be deeply missed; Roland was a great human being who rocked our souls with his photography, his poetic words, and his music.)

"He made me become a better musician." ~Steve L. Mehalcik

There are not many days that pass or old songs that we play, that I don't think of my friend Roland Forgues, who only wanted to make beautiful music, write heartfelt poetry, take breathtaking pictures, and most of all.....share his love and passion for what he did best, MAKE US ALL SMILE AND LAUGH!! Roland was taken from us much to soon, He had so much love for life. He would light up the darkest of days. We miss you so much Roland. Thank you for being such a special friend, we will remember you always and will spread your infectious smile and laughter. Your friend always, Donnie
